The diet of worms and insects
Extreme Survival - by then, and extreme, so to save yourself to go to things, which never would have gone into everyday life, under normal conditions. Well, tell me, you'll be home for breakfast is a worm or grasshopper? I think not, unless you are aboriginal, say, Oceania...
There are insects, worms and various larvae - it's not the most pleasant experience. But many of them are edible, the protein content in them is much higher than in beef, and even insects and worms get much easier than to hunt big game.
Almost all worms are edible. They should look for in a wet, oily soil, under stones, in old stumps. A good sign of the presence of worms may be traces of animals, who were trying to dig up the soil in certain areas. Digging - it means that you are looking for. And this is something that can be useful to you.
Larvae - are particularly rich in protein. They can be found on the rot through the remains of animals, in rotten tree trunks, in a soft loose soil near old stumps. Before use - rinse thoroughly! And if possible - preferably boiled. Of small larvae can be boiled or even tolerable broth soup, if you have something to add.
Insects - very diverse, and most of them are also edible (sadly ...). So, dragonflies, grasshoppers, locusts, scorpions, beetles, ants, termites and other ugliness - all on the table, surviving!
Remember, insects with bright, "acidic" color - usually poisonous. So, there is only those who are just edible. So, be careful! And eat not oblyapaytes:)
